The Women's Caucus of the Independent Voters of Illinois - Independent Precinct Organization will present a special program in honor of Women's History Month on Friday, March 14, at the Standard Club, 340 S. Plymouth, from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m.
The program, called "Women Rising to the Bench III," will feature a panel discussion with a panel consisting of U.S. District Court Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman, Illinois Appellate Court Justice Laura Liu, and Circuit Court Judges Patricia Banks, Nancy Katz, and Jessica Arong O'Brien. Circuit Court Judge Gloria Chevere will serve as moderator.
Tickets for the event are $70 apiece if purchased in advance ($75 at the door). Persons can become sponsors of the event for $250 (the price includes two tickets). All tickets are available at the IVI-IPO website.
