Mr. Gump is thoughtful, fair-minded, and possesses the requisite qualifications to serve as a Circuit Court Judge.
The Chicago Council of Lawyers says:
Joseph M. Gump has been a lawyer since 1987. He has been an Assistant Cook County Public Defender his entire career, serving most recently in the Rolling Meadows courthouse doing felony trial work. Mr. Gump is considered to have good legal ability and is praised by judges, defense counsel, and prosecutors as being a zealous and fair advocate for his clients.
