A campaign website is now online for 5th Subcircuit candidate Jackie Marie Portman-Brown. That's a link to the campaign website in the preceding sentence; a link has also been added to this site's Sidebar.
Portman-Brown is seeking to return to the bench after being denied retention in 2020. (She was first elected to a 5th Subcircuit vacancy on the Circuit Court in 2008.) She is not running for her own vacancy, however; she is instead seeking the Shelley vacancy.
First admitted to the practice of law in 1999, according to ARDC, Portman-Brown served as General Counsel for the Independent Police Review Authority and as a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney before her initial election to the bench.
