William H. Hooks -- Highly Qualified
William H. Hooks is "Highly Qualified" for the office of Circuit Court Judge. Mr. Hooks was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1981 and has extensive litigation experience in both the state and federal courts. Mr. Hooks has served as a prosecutor and defense attorney and has taught Advanced Trial Advocacy at DePaul University College of Law, Trial Advocacy at IIT-Kent College of Law, and Intense Trial Advocacy at the University of Chicago's Mandel Legal Clinic. Mr. Hooks also served as Chair of the Hearing Division of the Illinois Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission from 1994-2007.
