I thought they changed the party rules and can strip a person of their committemanship if they don't support the slated candidate.
I noticed O'Brien signs all over Ald. O'Connor's office even though he isn't slated.
Any attempt to strip a committeeman of his or her elected post would be stuck down by the courts so fast it would make your head spin. The "change" in their party rules was little more than window dressing, and most committeemen knew that when they enacted it.
