Cook County judicial endorsements from competing factions in the 26th Ward

There's a contest tomorrow for 26th Ward Committeeman. Incumbent Roberto Maldonado faces a challenge from Angee Gonzalez Rodriguez.

Both have palm cards making at least some recommendations in contested judicial races. Here's Maldonado's palm card, for the 26th Ward Democratic Organization:

Here is Angee Gonzalez Rodriguez's palm card, for what is called the New 26th Ward Independent Democratic Party:

Perhaps not surprisingly, the competitors do not agree on any judicial race.

Incumbent Moldonado urges support for Justice Jesse Reyes for the Supreme Court and bypasses the two Appellate Court contests.

In countywide judicial contests, Moldonado supports the county party's slate in many races -- but takes a pass on the Coghlan, Funderburk, Larsen, O'Brien, and K. Sheehan vacancies

In the 6th Subcircuit, Moldonado and the 26th Ward Democratic Organization support Jamie Guerra Dickler (Nega vacancy) and Eileen Marie O'Connor (Pantle vacancy).

Challenger Gonzalez Rodriguez and the New 26th Ward Independent Democratic Party support Anne Shaw (6th Subcircuit, Nega vacancy) and Cory Eli Oshita (6th Subcircuit, Pantle vacancy).

While the New 26th Ward Independent Democratic Party offers no recommendations for the Supreme or Appellate Courts, it does make recommendations in seven contested countywide contests for the Circuit Court:
Tiesha L. Smith - Bellows vacancy
Kelly Marie McCarthy - Coghlan vacancy
U. O'Neal - Ford vacancy
Amanda "Mandy" Pillsbury - Murphy Gorman vacancy
Elizabeth Anne Walsh - O'Brien vacancy
Lorraine Mary Murphy - Roti vacancy
Wendelin "Wendi" DeLoach - K. Sheehan vacancy
The Organizing the Data posts have been updated accordingly.

My thanks to political consultant Frank Calabrese for providing this information.
