A campaign website for Judge Susan Kennedy Sullivan, candidate for the Gordon vacancy on the Appellate Court, is now online. That's a link to the site in the preceding sentence; a link has also been added to the list of Appellate Court candidates in the blog Sidebar.
Judge Sullivan was elected to a countywide vacancy in 2010. She began practicing law in 1994. Before that, Sullivan became a nurse in 1974, earning an M.A. in Nursing Administration in 1979. Before going on the bench, according to her website, Judge Sullivan "practiced civil law concentrating in elder law, mental health, probate and matters concerning children."
Judge Sullivan's supporters have also announced a February 19 fundraiser for their candidate, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., at Toni Patisserie & Café, 65 E. Washington St. Tickets are $125 each and sponsorships are available (Donor - $250, Sponsor - $500). For more information, or to order tickets, email friendsforsusankennedysullivan@gmail.com or call Karen at (708) 369-0808.
