A sharp-eyed reader alerted me to the fact that a campaign website is now online for 4th Subcircuit candidate Maureen Masterson Pulia (Billik vacancy). That's a link to the campaign website in the preceding sentence; a link has also been added to the blog Sidebar.
Pulia has sought judicial office previously, running countywide as a Republican (in 2010) and in the 4th Subcircuit (in 2008). According to her campaign website, Pulia has served as an arbitrator for the Illinois Workers' Compensation Committee for over 10 years. She has been licensed as an attorney in Illinois since 1994.
Pulia has held elective office before, serving as both Trustee and Village Clerk for the Village of Westchester. Her campaign website stresses her involvement in various recycling efforts, both as a village official and volunteer. She has served as a cantor at her home parish and as coach of a Westchester girls softball team.
