The Illinois Federation of Teachers has announced endorsements in Cook County Appellate and Supreme Court races.For the Supreme Court, the Teachers endorse Justice Joy Virginia Cunningham.
In contested Appellate Court races, the IFT endorses Justice Rodolfo (Rudy) Garcia (O'Brien vacancy) and Justice P. Scott Neville, Jr. (Gallagher vacancy).
The IFT also endorsed Justices Nathaniel Roosevelt Howse, Jr. and Maureen Elizabeth Connors, but Justices Howse and Connors are uncontested in their respective bids for the Coleman and Theis vacancies.
