That's with 88.79% of City precincts reporting. And Judge John J. Mahoney would need 60% to be retained.
But Mahoney is polling better in the suburbs. He has a 64% "yes" vote outside the City, with 1,478 of 1,599 of those precincts counted.
Put them together and Mahoney has an overall 61.4% "yes" vote.

These people are like the Terminator. No matter how hard you try, they just can't be taken out. We have the judiciary we deserve.
John Mahoney did nothing to receive this bad press but piss off a lawyer who had clout in several bar associations. Crook county at its finest.
