Up ballot drama will affect Cook County balloting — Judge Nichole Payton has ordered Sheriff Candidate Carmen Gercone has been ordered on the ballot. City didn’t take her off the ballot, but the county clerk (and Tom Dart slate mate Yarbrough) did. Now what happens with THOSE ballots already sent out? They will need to be re-sent? Bad news for judge candidates.
The appellate court may want her off the ballot lol.
It was Patton, not Payton. So much for accuracy.
