Countywide judicial candidate Mary Bernadette McMahon (Callahan vacancy) now has a campaign website. That's a link to the site in the preceding sentence; a link has also been added to the Sidebar on this site.
Licensed as an attorney in Illinois since 2005, according to ARDC, McMahon has spent the "majority of her legal career in courtrooms where she worked as an Assistant State's Attorney assigned to the Felony Trial Division," according to her campaign bio. The campaign bio notes that she currently serves as a supervisor in the CCSAO.
McMahon resides on Chicago's Northwest Side with her husband, a firefighter, and their 4-year old son, according to her campaign bio. A Fenwick graduate, McMahon did her undergraduate work at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. before 'returning home' to attend the DePaul University College of Law.
This is McMahon's first campaign for election to the bench.
