Per email received this morning from Katelyn Hanley Semelbauer, a fundraiser is to be held for Judge James L. Kaplan on November 30, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, in the Heritage Room of the Union League Club, 65 W. Jackson.

Judge Kaplan was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Cole vacancy in Cook County's 8th Judicial Subcircuit in late 2010.
