Please note that the Candidate's Guide, while very useful, is no substitute for legal counsel. I am not an election lawyer. But such lawyers do exist. And if you hope to run for judge in Cook County -- for any office, really -- you really need to retain such a lawyer. At least one. Don't say I didn't warn you.
