Supporters of Judge Oran F. Whiting's bid to hold his countywide seat are planning a couple of fundraisers in private homes in the next couple of weeks.
The first of these is set for the Sheffield and DePaul neighborhood on Wednesday, February 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $150 each, but sponsorships are available ($250, $500, $1,000).
The second event will be in the River North neighborhood on Thursday, March 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tickets for this event are also $150 each with sponsorships of $250, $500, or $1,000 available.

This guy is going to do spectacular on the south side. Perhaps the FOP should have endorsed him after all.
