Judge Samuel J. Betar III to seek O'Donnell vacancy in 13th Subcircuit

After serving 19 years as an associate judge, the Illinois Supreme Court last month appointed Judge Samuel J. Betar III to the O'Donnell vacancy in the 13th Subcircuit. An email received this morning advises that Judge Betar plans to enter the March 2018 Democratic primary in an effort to keep this seat.
