But even uncontested candidates have campaign expenses, especially when they're slated, and, for that very practical reason, supporters of Thomas F. McGuire's countywide candidacy have scheduled a fundraiser for Friday, February 2, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., at Café la Cave, 2777 Mannheim Rd., Des Plaines.
Tickets are $50 each, but sponsorships are available (Bronze Host - $150, Silver Host - $250, Gold Host - $500, Platinum Host - $1,000, and Chair - $2,500).
