A campaign website has been found for Chelsey Renece Robinson, candidate for the countywide Flannery vacancy. That's a link to the candidate's website in the preceding sentence; a link has been added to the Sidebar on this site as well.
Licensed in Illinois since 1996, according to ARDC, Robinson practices with the firm of Owens & Robinson. Her campaign website says she "is a community activist fighting for equity in employment, criminal justice, and human rights." According to her campaign website, Robinson is the Co-Founder of the Pro-Vision Project Mentoring Program and currently serves as the First Vice President and Chairperson of the Criminal Justice Committee for the Chicago Southside Branch of the NAACP.
The new campaign website notes that Robinson "was privileged to share her legal expertise as a legal consultant for a nationally syndicated court television show for 20 years." The show in question is not named but, from past campaigns, we know this is a reference to the Judge Mathis show.
Robinson was a candidate for a countywide vacancy in 2022; she ran for a 2nd Subcircuit vacancy in 2020.
