AMVOTE PAC announces endorsements in contested Cook County Judicial races

AMVOTE PAC, the American Middle East Voter’s Alliance, is Illinois’ first Arab American Political Action Committee dedicated, according to its website, to promoting voter registration, voter information, and voter empowerment.

AMVOTE has now released its 2024 primary endorsements on its website. That link will take you to the full endorsement page.

In contested Cook County Judicial races, AMVOTE has made the following endorsements:

Supreme Court Vacancy
Jesse G. Reyes
Appellate Court Vacancies
Cynthia Y. Cobbs (Cunningham vacancy)
Celia Louise Gamrath (Delort vacancy)
Circuit Court Vacancies
Pablo F. deCastro (Flannery, Jr. vacancy)
Neil Cohen (Mitchell vacancy)
Edward Joseph Underhill (Murphy vacancy)
Russ Hartigan (Propes vacancy)
Subcircuit Vacancies
Kim Przekota (11th Subcircuit - Daleo vacancy)
Luciano "Lou" Panici, Jr. (15th Subcircuit - Demacopoulos vacancy)
Bridget Colleen Duigan (19th Subcircuit - Converted from Senechalle, Jr. vacancy)
For those who keep track of such things, in countywide races, the AMVOTE PAC endorsements closely track the Cook County Democratic Party's slate, including Clayton Harris III for State's Attorney and Mariyana Spyropoulos for Clerk of the Circuit Court. There are only two departures from the slate -- Reyes for the Supreme Court and Hartigan for the Propes vacancy on the Circuit Court.
