AABA Annual Installation Ceremony & Awards Reception set for Feburary 8

The Asian American Bar Association of Greater Chicago will hold its 36th Annual Installation Ceremony and Awards Reception on Thursday, February 8, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Venue West, 221 N. Paulina Street.

In addition to the installation of its officers for the coming year, the AABA will confer a number of awards at this event. Honorees include:

• Abiman Rajadurai, General Counsel of McDonald's Operating Company & Sr. Counsel, Global Labor & Employment - In-House Counsel Leadership Award,
• Sharon Hwang, Shareholder, McAndrews - Law Firm Partner Diversity Leadership Award,
• Ivy Lee. Assistant General Counsel, CompTIA - Rising Star Award, and
• Dennis Mondero, Executive Director, Chinese Mutual Aid Association - Justice Award.

Appellate Court Justice Rena Marie Van Tine will conduct the installation of AABA officers. Kristy Gonowon, Corporate Counsel & Director at Lowe's Companies Inc., will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
