Indo-American Democratic Organization announces Cook County judicial endorsements

On the Endorsements page of the IADO website, you'll find mention of only two: Countywide candidate Rena Marie Van Tine (Leeming vacancy) and 9th Subcircuit candidate Sanjay Tailor (Cleveland Bernstein vacancy).

But there's a far longer list on the group's Facebook page. Van Tine and Tailor are on this list, too, in boldface type. In the two Appellate Court races and the nine countywide races the IADO endorsements track those of the Cook County Democratic Party almost completely. But only almost. Mary Bernadette McMahon received the IADO's endorsement for the Callahan, Jr. vacancy over the Cook County Democratic Party's slated candidate, Judge Tracie Porter.

The IADO did not make endorsements in every subcircuit race, but, in addition to the Tailor endorsement, did make these recommendations:

• 4th Subicrcuit, Rogers vacancy - ShawnTe Raines Welch,
• 9th Subcircuit, Jacobius vacancy - Barry Goldberg,
• 11th Subcircuit, McGuire vacancy - Aileen Bhandari, and
• 13th Subcircuit, Groebner vacancy - James Costello.
