The Chicago Bar Association Symphony Orchestra and the CBA Chorus return will offer all-Mozart concert on Saturday, May 7, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at St. James Episcopal Cathedral, 65 E. Huron St.
Included in the program of choral and orchestral selections is music from The Magic Flute and The Impresario, the composer's Te Deum and Ave Verum Corpus, and the Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola (with Pat Bronte and Adrienne Kitchen as soloists.) Marek Rachelski, Stephen Blackwelder and David Katz conduct.
Tickets for the concert range from $10 (for law students or persons 18 or younger) to $15 (for adults) and are available at this link. Masks will be required for this performance. Tickets will be available at the door tomorrow ($20 for adults, $15 for students).
The CBA Symphony and CBA Chorus will present an encore of this program on Saturday, June 5, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., at St. John Brebeuf Church, 8305 N. Harlem Ave., in Niles. Ticket prices for this encore program are the same as those for tomorrow's performance. Tickets for the June 5 program are available at this link.
