Mahoney below 60% threshold in City returns

With 85.98% of precincts reporting, Judge John J. Mahoney has a "yes" vote of only 58.97%. He's got a 63.72% "yes" vote in the suburbs. I haven't put the numbers together yet... but he's on the bubble, apparently.

Judge Jackie Marie Portman-Brown has a 61.1% "yes" vote in the suburbs. She has a 60.38% favorable vote in the City. She's above water, but barely.

  1. Mahoney should make it and so will Toomin. And not to distract from Cook County...but the big story right now is Tom Kilbride in big trouble.
