Third time's the charm for Romanek in the 9th Subcircuit?

A five-way race for the Preston vacancy in the 9th Subcircuit -- a race in which every candidate was rated qualified or recommended (or better) by every bar association -- may end in victory for Abbey Fishman Romanek, whose bids for 9th Subcircuit vacancies fell short in 2010 (just short) and 2012.

Here are the county numbers:

Romanek is ahead by nearly 300 votes in the City as well.

This may be her night.

In the other two 9th Subcircuit contests, Anjana Hansen is comfortably ahead in both city and suburban numbers in the race for the Meyer vacancy.

The race for the Goldberg vacancy is much closer.  Judge Jerry Esrig has an 800 vote cushion over Megan Goldish in the suburban returns, but Goldish is ahead of Esrig by roughly 1,500 votes or so in City returns.
