Latest update in Alliance Appellate Court candidate ratings

There weren't that many holes left in the Alliance grids for the Appellate Court candidates; there are none now. Unless a bar group reconsiders its rating on a particular Appellate Court candidate, therefore, I believe we can look on this grid as 'final':

Clicking on the image may enlarge it or sharpen its focus depending on the device on which you are viewing this.

The Alliance of Bar Associations for Judicial Screening is comprised of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Chicago Area (AABA), Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago (BWLA), Chicago Council of Lawyers (CCL), Cook County Bar Association (CCBA), Decalogue Society of Lawyers (DSL), Hellenic Bar Association (HBA), Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois (HLAI), Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago (LAGBAC), Puerto Rican Bar Association of Illinois (PRBA), and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI), working collaboratively to improve the process of screening judicial candidates in Cook County, Illinois.

The abbreviations used by Alliance members are self-explanatory (some groups have a "Highly Recommended" or "Highly Qualified" rating -- but others, such as the Women's Bar Association of Illinois, have no rating higher than "Recommended"). You may note that some candidates are rated "NE" by some bar groups. "NE" stands for Not Evaluated, meaning that the candidate was not evaluated by that group, through no fault of the candidate.

I will have further updates to the Alliance grids as they become available.
