Daley?" From sewer renovations to port-a-potties at Taste of Chicago, Daley got top billing.<br /><br />I feel the same about Stephanie's campaign. Only diehard political followers know the names Stephanie focuses on rather than why she is worthy of my vote. No offense to Mr. Rosenfeld, Martwick, Murphy, et. al., but I don't vote for someone, especially a judge, because you support someone. Truth be told, when I see the names of certain backers, I either think "he is absolutely clueless as to what qualities make a good judge" or "if this corrupt politician wants someone on the bench, there is a reason why." (No implication re the three earlier examples).<br /><br />Point is, I see Martwick's name in bold print and same or larger font than the candidate's. That usually only works when the name you are associating yourself with is someone who is immensely well-liked. <br /><br />Go ahead and align yourself with those who voted for the bag tax, sugar tax, income tax, red light cameras, property tax increases if you think that impresses us, but don't ask yourself "what happened" when all those turned off by dirty politicians walk away.
