United Hellenic Voters of America offer endorsements in some contested Cook County judicial races

The United Hellenic Voters of America have announced their endorsements for the March primary.

The UHVA's complete list of primary endorsements can be found by clicking here. The UHVA did not make many endorsements in contested Cook County judicial races, but the group did offer these:
Countywide Vacancies
Cobbs Vacancy - Linda Sackey
Coughlin Vacancy - Michael Cabonargi
Subcircuit Vacancies
8th Subcircuit (Gamrath) - Elizabeth Christina Dibler

20th Subcircuit (Miller) - Belle Katubig

  1. Is there a Greek style of jurisprudence? I'm at a loss to see what the criteria for endorsements could be.

  2. The UHVA has as much right to express its preferences as anyone else, and if this group, or any other, publicly endorses Cook County judicial candidates, I'll try and get those endorsements published here. Nobody says that the Greeks, or any ethnic group, has a monopoly on knowing who'd be a good judge. But it is a data point: One thing to consider among (hopefully) many. It's part of building a winning coalition, too. Stay tuned; I'll have more to say on this soon.
