Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me seven times, shame on me. No thank you, Justice Theis. Not this time. I do not know Don Harmon, Oak Park Committeeman; but I am sure the next (already selected) soon to be appointed judge from the 11th subcircuit does.

MY SOURCES TELL ME THAT THERE WILL BE A MOVEMENT TO IMPEACH JUSTICE THEIS IF A HISPANIC IS NOT APPOINTED TO THIS VACANCY.

Application? Har har hardee har har. Good luck folks!

Odds makers called SS correctly; then called GV(P)C correctly. Place this bet, folks. The blue ribbon panel will "select" a JR for this vacancy.

Seems quite absurd to suggest it is an impeachable offense to not appoint a Hispanic.

Even if appointed, a Hispanic can not win an election in 11. Don Harmon buddy and Democratic Party of Oak Park member, Judge Al Maldonado, knew not event to try. Judge Maldonado went the Associate path. A Hispanic female, however, would do much better than, a Hispanic male, but still could not win outright. Theis will not make an appointment that will go down in flames.

Hmmm. Whatever happened to the Theis vacancy in the 3rd Subcircuit? Is Theis recruiting carpetbaggers to set up residencies in Beverly ala Judge Sherlock? Perhaps we should FOIA the applications to confirm who applied and when, because I bet you a pint at the Cork and Kerry that some of those addresses are not inside the 3rd Subcircuit. Or, if they are, they are freshly minted residences.

The judiciary is exempt from FOIA.

of course they are.

If by sources you mean the voices in your head (Anon 11/17 4:26 p.m.), then Justice Theis can rest easy knowing that she will not be facing impeachment any time in the immediate future, at least not for your articulated basis.
